What is Gor? It
depends on who you talk to. You take people who have a high degree of
self-confidence, and they can talk about what the Gorean books are - knowing
that some folks do enjoy 'playing' Gor online. Actually, online, that is
about all you can do. You are touching the mind, you might make the
body respond, but other than that - you are not physically touching that other
person.
Gor is not fair!
Gor is not just!
Gor is NOT absolute.
That is what these Discussion nights are for - to share ideas, views, concepts of how we see Gor.
Basic rules during this Round Table format are:
Respect for each other
No brattiness tolerated - either from subs or Master/Mistress
If you are going to 'quote the book' - do so in its entirety
- dont take a phrase out of context. Unfortunately, with 25 books, you can
find a statement to prove your point - as easily as a phrase can be found
to disprove it.
You can
spend all your time arguing the semantics and ever changing rules of Gor - or
you can enjoy it. Dont indulge in the destruction of a world we all have
come to love - and that is now a deep part of us. Each in our own way, in
our own time - lives to serve our purpose.
