Fanci`: for the first Issue of the evening ....
Fanci`: Kajira are not allowed to use popups for serves, which means extensive typing and originality of thought. Yet Frees use popups .. and even bots apply them in some channels, to the extent of driving everyone nutty. 
Fanci`: Does this rule make sense, really?

{CSF}nyla rises..we "are" kajira...we are trained to be pleasing individually..not be trained bots....it is the least we can do is offer something different on our services...each Free we serve is an individual and we owe them that respect..

Fanci` smiles to the room

Fanci`: nyla .. as a Free Person, I respect the work that goes into serves .. and the originality and creativity .. 
Fanci`: I wonder though.. if popups of any sort should be allowed in channel?
Fanci`: are they not stifling .. not to mention... tiresome!!!!
Fanci` nods to Korus` .. your thoughts, Bro?

Korus`: my statement is not direct about popups Sis
Korus`: but more on being true to ourselves.
Korus`: We as Masters/Mistresses feel "slighted if the kajira serveing us use popups to speed things
Korus`: feeling its not respectful to us

Fanci`: in some channels, its a kick offense
Fanci`: and certainly good for a scolding, if they are caught at it

Korus`: yet how many of us pay any real attention to the serves they do properly for us?  I have seen masters ignore kajira that work their heart out for them ... yet they feel its proper to play footsie with a cyberkitten while they are being served, or be in 3 rooms being served in each   I for one think we owe it to ourselves to observe them when they are serving us and tell them if they do well as well as when they do wrong.

a_slave: a girl should like to address what Mistress said: popups
this one believes that popups should never be used by slaves, but that the free are free and she knows they can do what they wish... some Masters using popups a girl knows that some do yes...is it right? of course it is right they are free, and only a slave can use her talents to show her belly in a serve, if a Master doesnt watch or listen maybe another does....but girl doesn't do it for herself, she does it for the one she serves, and hopes to be found pleasing 

Fanci`: Strummer? Your thoughts, please

Strummer: some Men attend to what the slaves do in a serve... some do not. I do not feel that is the point.....if a Man misses that by His inattention.. that is His loss.... the contrary result is to have both the Man and the kajira "hitting the next key stroke" and not giving anything of themselves at all.  a one sided effort... becomes a no sided effort.... and a shallow experience... turns into a completely empty one

Strummer: I'd rather see both side concentrate... appreciate... involve them selves, but - two wrongs do not make a better IRC experience ;)  for dances....probably popups work best...for a good serve however, give Me one where the girl is pouring her heart and soul into it

Fanci`: looking at another aspect of it .. the channel bots .. that are programmed to react to given words and leap out, sweeping or making dumb jokes .. or whatever (distracting, as far as I'm concerned) .. if the channel owner programs them to do their tiresome duties over and over .. is it any less respectful to the guests to suffer through THAT as to recognize parts of a pasted serve?

Bots are only what their designers and owners design them to be.  hmmm ok.....I must totally concur with my sister however....we are here to please...not be programmed....but the bots are the owner's whim....M'lady...

ok, I'd say, that I think bots can be really dumb and annoying too. however, they provide the person creating them a chance to learn. because dumb annoying bots are usually the product of a beginner bot programmer, advanced bots can be quite useful and good.  providing message services, or automatic auctioning, see the #munchbot-trivia or slave acution channels for some non Gor examples.  

Fanci` smiles and nods .. indeed, they can perform well in a number of mindless, repetitive services

Merigold: but humans I think, unless they are just horrible typists, should try to get along without popups.  there's exceptions, in places where you have to "describe yourself" in 100 words or more, you could make a popup for that, but ony use it once on entry for example.

a_slave: a girl is sometimes confused by bots, she often greets them not knowing they are bots and the worst part for this one is being allowed entry by a bot and saying thank you Master Bot and greetings.....normally the Free will give her entry, but...

Fanci` nods .. the Free *should* give you entry

a_slave: its wierd just the same, one girl she knows refused to obey a bot and was told the bot was an extension of the Master.  its confusing :/

Fanci` smiles and thinks about that .. "an extension of the Master"

{CSF}nyla raises her hand with a giggle..well, then should not the bots just be a "guard" bot .....it is confusing at times....not knowing where to do....and forging ahead to find we are speaking to a program...

Fanci` looks around ..

Korus`: how many channels should any master/mistress be limiting themselves too.

Fanci`: that's an excellent one, Korus` .. and in a way .. segues right into the next Issue

Korus`: I have seen too many times where a person was in so many channels they could not hope to keep track of what was going on.

Fanci`: Well .. long pauses in one channel usually indicate a lack of interst .. or not paying attention. 

a_slave: thank you Mistress, a girl can not tell the free what to do but... in her honest opinion a Master in too many channels what is he really doing? is he able to Master doing that?
