Fanci`: the Issue we can look at now .. as a logical follow-up to this present one .. is:

Fanci`: In a channel, the major responsibility of the OPs (all Free persons, usually) is to grant entrance and exit permission to slaves . .and to keep order in the channel. 
Should an OP declassify Him/Herself if occupied with a slave in their lap or furs .. since it often involves very long delays in noticing channel flow, and thus attending to channel business.

Fanci` looks around to the room ... furring, alcoving, being in too many channels .. its all the same. Not paying attention .. and many Frees do this.

personally... I'd hate to see "Rules" established for Free Persons......the reason many of us are here.....
is that we're stiffled by the constraints of Real/life.   but -

Strummer: a Man that gets too distracted.... exposes intimate actions in Public windows.....fails to note the effort a girl puts into her serve to Him..in a very short period of time...the girls will avoid Him...He will loose His OPs...and He will simply vanish

Strummer: IRC Weeds out many of those. this is a hard place.  a Man's reputation... is really all He has.

{CSF}nyla raises her hand.  "well..hmmm... the Free Persons remember these things that occur as well as the slaves.....It is thought down deep that the Free find it disrespectful, too, perhaps, but of course, this girl can't speak for them...

Fanci`: yes .. it works both ways ... and is a good argument for using the BRB or BBIAB device.  because it is frustrating for a girl to beg entrance .. and wait and wait ... or for anyone to address another person .. and get no response.

a_slave: but...its the Free's right to ignore, the girl is not the focus but the Free.  girl doesnt like to be ignored no, but, if she is, she must be patient and strive to find a way to be found pleasing or beg to leave

Fanci`: but .. I must add this (with a grin):  how can a girl be pleasing to the Free .. if she waits at the door .. and is never granted entrance?
Fanci looks around to the Free present here .."is there ever a way that a girl can just slip in and go to the furs .. and wait to be noticed there?"

Fanci`: Korus`.. speak on that, please

Fanci` nods to Grey0 . .indeed .. I have seen it.

Korus`: in Camp and in our sister city if a girl is inside...they are in camp or inside the door.  they only need permission to afk or exit.

Fanci`: Korus` .. I believe your entrance message says "need not beg to enter"

Korus`: many times I have missed seeing a girl at the door.  so if they are at the serving furs they can serve any needing serve.  this seems to work very well for all concerned, including the ops

Fanci`: I have seen others where the message says "must beg to enter or leave" .. a girl waits maybe 5 minutes for recognition, and then leaves with "having not been admitted to the room, slips quietly into the darkness" .. and disappears.  That happened, btw, before I was aware that ANY Free could grant entrance 

{CSF}nyla rises...thank you, M'lady...as Master Korus says, permission is not needed to enter Camp or the City because it is felt a girl is already in it..why ask... but also in this line of thought... if the Free are busy as often happens, my own Master gets busy with so many msgs and guests in Camp...he has given me permission as se`kajira of Camp to nudge him & Master Korus if someone needs permission for something....it helps them and the people entering also

JohnJ: The Falls works in a similar manner.   the Falls girls know they can nudge me a bit if someone comes in.. and the regulars or semi regulars are informed that if I am marked afk to wait and I will return.  but because of the forum we are in there has to be some consideration for.. shall er say r/l events instead of the nasty 4 letter word

if a girl enters and a Master is AFk is she allowed to come and go as she pleases?
if he is the only Master there?

a_slave: yes Master thank you.  its confusing sometimes to this one

Fanci`: I would think if He is AFK when she enters .. she has no way to know how long He will be away. 
I'd think she could excuse herself and say she will return at another time.

a_slave: what if he goes afk after he allows her in?

Fanci`: oh  well ... that's a tricky one. 

a_slave: and a girl needs to go?

Grey0: technicly, if the only Free is AFK, then there IS not Free present

Fanci`: its not reasonable to be left waiting for an indefinite period.

Korus`: and R/L may demand her attentions away from irc.

Fanci`: indeed
